David Asman is an American journalist working as a FOX Business Network host. Asman initiated his journalism journey in 1978, starting as an assistant editor at Prospect Magazine.

Within a year, he ascended to the position of executive editor. In 1980, George Gilder enlisted him to establish an economic journal for the Manhattan Institute.

Asman expanded his contributions as a radio commentator for Perspective on the Economy and served as a consultant to the Ford Foundation, focusing on African organizations in the United States. Additionally, he took on the role of host for Issues USA, a nightly televised public affairs program.
